Synopsis:

During mid-Ming Dynasty, Zhuge Zheng Wo, the sheriff of Dirine Deputy Department, with his four infamous deputies, Coldblood, Chaser, Heartless, and Iron Hand protected the Capital City.

Coldblood rescued a young lady named, Chu Li Mo, Zhuge Zheng Wo admired Li Mo's talent and let her stay to be trained. Because of this, Coldblood and Li Mo fell in love. But they have personality clash, which created numerous misunderstandings.

Chu Li Mo went missing while investigating a case. Coldblood began to examine his own feelings toward Li Mo, and went out to search for her. The two went through extreme hardships and got back together while being pursued and framed by their enimies.

Royal lord An Shi Geng is bent on creating chaos and confusions. The Four cracked the cases that were manufactured by An Shi Geng, such as the case of the Imperial Jade Seal, and the case of the Fox Expulsion. An Shi Geng considered the Four, his arch enimies.

The goddess of deputies, Ji Yao Hua, had a crush on Coldblood, and envied Chu Li Mo. Later she was used by An Shi Geng. Together, they fight against the Four.

Coldblood joined force with the rest and with Chu Li Mo to fight against An Shi Geng.

Later, Ji Yao Hua repent from her misguided ways. At the key moment, she assassinated An Shi Geng, and received forgiveness from Zhuge Zheng Wo.

In the end, Coldblood and Chu Li Mo got married. The other three also found their love. Ji Yao Hua was able to come out from the shadows of her jelous love.
